Shelf life and features:
Lithium batteries can generally be recharged 300-500 times. Partial discharge is best for lithium batteries, not full discharge, and try to avoid frequent full discharge. Once the battery got off the production line, the clock started moving. Whether you use it or not, lithium-ion batteries only last for the first few years. The drop in battery capacity is due to increased internal resistance due to oxidation (which is the main reason for the drop in battery capacity). Finally, the electrolytic cell resistance reaches a point at which the battery is fully charged, but the battery cannot release the stored power.
