Lead Acid Battery

Lead Acid Battery :The electrode is mainly made of lead and its oxides.In the discharge state, the main component of positive electrode is lead dioxide, while that of negative electrode is lead. In charge state, the main components of positive and negative poles are lead sulfate. It is divided into exhaust battery and maintenance-free lead-acid battery.

The battery is mainly composed of tubular positive plate, negative plate, electrolyte, baffle, battery groove, battery cover, pole, liquid injection cover and so on. The electrode of the exhaust battery is composed of lead and lead oxides, and the electrolyte is an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid. The main advantages are stable voltage and low price. The disadvantages are low specific energy (that is, electricity stored per kilogram of battery), short working life and frequent daily maintenance. Conventional batteries typically last about two years, and the height of the electrolyte is regularly checked and distilled water is added. But with the development of technology, lead-acid batteries have become longer and easier to maintain.
